"When I was 12 years old I drowned in the Mississippi river near Jefferson Baracks park. I was rescued by on off duty fireman who was riding his bike on the trail. He gave me cpr until the ambulance got there. People who have near death experiences describe seeing a light, or a transition between life and death, but this was not my experience. I dont remember a dividing line between the world of the living and the world of the dead. I remember my lungs filling with water as I sank to the bottom of the river, and then it was dark. I was back on the side of the river, looking out over the rapids. As I looked over the water, I saw a figure rise up and hover over me. The sky began to vibrate and he looked down at me. He reached out his long slender arm towards my face, but then, I woke up in the hospital bed with doctors and nurses standing around me.

I never found out who that man was, that is, until I signed up for car insurance. I walked into the office, and the man behind the desk looked back at me. He didn't say anything, he just starred at me, as if he was trying to tell if I could see him. He backed into his office and closed the door. Then I signed up with the secretary.

That man in the office was the man who i saw that day in the underworld. I don't know what his role is in my life, or what kind of being he is, but i do know that i trust him to provide good insurance services."
